Membership

The following individuals are eligible to join MFFCU:

Membership Application

Any active or retired employee of the City of Miami Fire Department
Any active or retired employees of our Select Employee Groups (SEGs).
Any immediate family members and Widows or Widowers, of the above mentioned, or anyone sharing a household with the above-mentioned.

Immediate Family Membershipis limited to a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent or grandchild. Stepchildren, stepparents, stepsiblings and adopted children are also included in this definition.

Household Membership is defined as persons living in the same residence and who maintain a single unit. This includes any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of the household.
